Question:
The 12’ hard nylon white strip that the slide rides on has a deep grove on both ends, so the bottom of slide is starting to catch on the fibers of the carpet. The slide has a rough ride going in and out. Is it costly to replace by professionals or can I buy the part and do it myself? I’m handy to a certain point. Do you sell this part and is it reasonably easy to replace?

The part of your slide out that is worn out isn't a part we offer as a replacement, but we do offer the Lippert Carpet Protectors for RVs with Slide Outs # LC134993 which will protect the carpet where yours is starting slightly catch for the time being. The install of a new track/rail isn't exactly super easy but it's not impossible for a DIYer.
