Hello, I sent out this question before but cant find the email response. I purchased a Thule Hullavator and wanted to find a way to attach it to my rack Baja Rack 4Runner G5 Utility flat rack without sunroof. I own a 2018 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro. I remember the response said that basically my Thule purchase was a waste because theres no way to attach it to my rack which was a HUGE bummer for me. What other possibility do I have as I kayak solo a lot and need some type of assist kayak rack for my vehicle. Thank you.

I do have an option for you but I concur that there is indeed no real way to attach the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier part # TH898 on your 2018 Toyota 4Runner unless you were to remove the Baja G5 Utility Rack and install a set of crossbars like the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack part # MPG216. The issue with the Baja G5 Utility Rack is that the Thule Hullavator requires a crossbar overhang which is not possible with the Baja G5 Utility Rack.

If you want to keep your Baja G5 Utility Rack then I recommend using the Malone DownLoader Kayak Carrier and TelosXL Load Assist part # MPG114MD-351XL instead. In order to use this you would most likely need to obtain the Baja Rack Crossbars or Baja Rack Accessory Mounts.
