Troubleshooting Curt Mobile Echo that Shows Braking When Headlights Come On

I switched over to all led lights on the trailer and the problem stopped no more breaking when I turn on the lights

Sounds like you have a short between the running light circuit and the brake output signal on the trailer wiring of your vehicle which is confusing the Curt Echo Mobile part # C51180 into thinking that when the headlights come on the brakes are on.

What you'll want to do is check the wiring of the trailer wiring looking for any shorts or exposed wire and fix as needed. Most likely it will be right behind the connector.

Glad you got it fixed and thanks for passing on what fixed the issue! The Echo isn't known for having issues with either style of trailer lights so I wonder if you maybe accidentally took care of a short that was present during the install process of the new lights.
