Question:
My over head light in my truck went bad it has two wires but my new light only has one wire how do I hook up my new light to my wires thanks

Expert Reply:
When a single function light only has 1 wire, like the Thinline LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light # MCL67AB, it means that it grounds through the mounting hardware. If the mounting location doesn't have a clean, bare-metal surface then you either need to clean it for a good ground connection or find an over head light that uses 2 wires for installation.
