What do you recommend for a suitable like replacement for a Dutton-Lanson model DL1400 winch?

The Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch # DL15303 is a direct replacement for your older DL1400model winch so it is what I recommend using as a replacement. I reached out to my contact at Dutton-Lainson who confirmed this.
