Question:
the install refers to oem plug as being on drivers side of hitch. on my 2018 nissan titan sv the plug is on the pass side. when pulled off the rear bumper and moved toward the hitch it appears to be a little short . looking at the 55774 adapter plug to rv 7 way plug it doesnt look like it will reach the plug bracket mount on driver side of hitch. Im basing this on the part illustration only so if the length will make it I plan on purchasing the 55774. If Curt has another kit with a longer reach that would be an option or I could just lengthen the harness myself. Pls advise

It sounds like you are trying to make sure you can use the existing bracket mount on your hitch to mount the Curt T-Connector part # C55774 on your 2018 Nissan Titan with factory 7-way port. The wiring portion of the Curt T-Connector measures 15-3/4" long so you may want to measure from the factory 7-way port to the mounting bracket on your hitch to see if you have enough length. The other options would be Gooseneck wiring options and the shortest one available is 7 feet long which is way too long for what you need.
If the 15-3/4" of length is not enough to reach the bracket, I recommend using Curt's No drill bracket part # C57202 on the passenger side of the hitch to attach the 7-way plug to so you are not stretching the wires too tightly. This would be much easier than extending the length yourself. However, I do not think you will have an issue with the length of the Curt T-connector on the Nissan Titan.

Just a heads up for people reading in the future. I tried the Curt T-Connector (7 way and 4 way) harness with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver on my 2018 Nissan Titan, which has a mount on the driver's side of the hitch. The harness is around 6-7" too short to reach the factory plug (which is on the passenger side of the hitch). This combo doesn't work for the Titan (unless I'm doing something completely wrong).
