Transmission Cooler and Oil Cooler for 2016 Toyota Tacoma With 3.5L V6

Question:

Good morning. I have a 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport with the 3.5L V6 Atkinson Cycle motor. My truck did not come with the tow package and I want to upgrade. I will be towing a 4000+ pound camper. What would be the appropriate transmission cooler and oil cooler for my truck? Also, how complicated is it to install? Thank you very much for your time and help.

Transmission cooler and oil coolers are universal, with the general rule being the larger the better; you just need to ensure you have the appropriate amount of space. The Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler with Multiple Threads # D15902 is 17" Wide x 12-1/2" tall x 3/4" deep which is large enough to give you the cooling you need. It's ideal fit is in front of or behind your radiator, as you can see by the linked installation instructions. I do recommend checking those out in regards to how complicated it is to install. I only say that because difficulty is subjective so what may be difficult for me is simple for you and vice-versa.
