Question:

I need a ST225/75R15R load range E. It seems to be the logical choice. Single axle trailer weight 5000 lb loaded. Old tires were inflated to 65lb. What inflation pressure should be used with replace- ment tires using weight distribution hitch? What is the speed rating for these tires? Destroyed one old rim. Was thinking of replacing with your AM22646. Specs fit. If I order 2 rims and 2 tires will they come mounted? Does this combo seem workable?

We don't have the ability to mount tires here so if you went with the wheel part # AM22646 and the Karrier Tire part # AM10303 you'd have to mount them locally. But this tire is the best option around in this size. It has a high weight capacity, and a speed rating at 81 mph.

I'd run the max pressure rating for this tire of 80 psi and you'll have the best capacity and tire wear towing a 5,000 lb trailer.
