Is Hinge of Blue Ox Ascent Tow Bar Difficult to Move at First

Question:

I am having difficulty getting my Blue Ox assent into storage position on the back of my motorhome. I had it professionally installed. I had no problem hooking up the car, it was great! But now that I am at my destination I am having this problem. I am a 135 pound woman, not a weakling, but this is so hard! Could the bolts be too tight?

The hinge of new tow bars like your Blue Ox Avail can be very stiff at first. The good news is that it's going to feel much easier the next time you go to use it as eventually the tightness relaxes a bit. I would not recommend loosening bolts.
