Troubleshooting Why Reset Button of Master Lock Safe Space Won't Depress

Question:
I cannot depress the gray button to reset combination. What am I doing wrong? I have tried for 15 minutes and it will NOT depress.

To reset the password of the Masterlock part # ML5900D you need to have it set to the current password and then depress the reset button. It sounds like yours maybe hasn't been set to the correct password before trying to depress the reset button.
