Question:
I have a bradford flatbed with a recessed gooseneck ball, and am interested in purchasing one of the cushioning gooseneck replacement hitches. I am worried that it will not clear The recessed hitch.

The base of the Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler part # CG is 7" long x 5" wide which you can see in the attached photo and that should then allow you to determine if you have room within the recessed gooseneck hitch ball opening on your flatbed. The only other cushioned gooseneck trailer coupler we offer is the Gen-Y Gooseneck Coupler w/ Shock Absorption part # 325-GH-7061 which would require even more clearance so if the Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Trailer Coupler will not work as is, your best option would be to trim the opening until this will clear.
