Can Curt X5 Gooseneck Adapter # 16310 Fit with Spray in Truck Bed Liner

Question:

I have a 2014 Ford F250 King Ranch Crew Cab with a 6 3/4 bed. I just bought a BandW Turnover Gooseneck hitch and I am considering purchasing this Curt plate #16310 to work with my Reese 16K 5th wheel hitch. My truck has some scratches in the bed from use so I am considering having the garage install a spray-in bedliner for me when they install the turnover gooseneck hitch. However, I have read surveys that say that it can be a challenge getting the Curt plate to fit with a spray-in bedliner. 1 is this true?? and 2 if it is true, is there a recommended thickness of a spray-in bedliner that still allows the plate to fit well?

Spray in bedliners are not normally an issue for with the Curt X5 adapter part # 16310 that you mentioned. Most of the people who use this adapter have one and the adapter itself is height adjustable to compensate for the extra thickness.

I attached a picture that shows this installed in a truck bed with a spray in bed liner for you to check out as well.
