If you are planning on towing 300 - 500 lbs then we do have the equipment for your 2017 Kia Forte but please note that in the online version of the owner's manual (page 5-91) it states that Kia does not recommend using your vehicle for trailer towing. So the decision to tow will be entirely up to you and you need to check all of the weight ratings but it might be worth looking into a different vehicle if you plan on towing often.
With that being said, I recommend using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11368, Curt T-Connector # C53KR, and Drawbar # C45521 with Pin and Clip # F-4 and either 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # A-80 or 2" Hitch Ball # A-82.
This equipment gives you a max towing weight of 2,000 lbs and a max tongue weight of 200 lbs. If you decide to go with a different vehicle just let me know the year/make/model and I'd be happy to help get you set up for towing!
