For your 2018 Toyota RAV4 we have both 1-1/4-inch and 2-inch hitches, all shown on the linked page, but the specific one I recommend is the 2-inch USA-made etrailer model # e98864 because of its combination of a friendly price, simple no-drill installation and hefty weight capacity. It also offers a nice matte black finish that looks good. I linked an installation video and the written instructions for this hitch.

If towing is in your plans I suggest the 4-pole wiring harness # 118578 from Tekonsha because it has the highest current capacity of all available kits. Installation is shown in the linked video. For a complete ball mount and hitch ball kit you might also consider # 989900 which includes two ball mounts and two hitch balls for flexibility to tow trailers with different size couplers.

If your use for the hitch is to add a bike rack like # TH9058 or a cargo carrier then this 2-inch etrailer hitch will still be an excellent choice.
