If the trailer you are looking at is equipped with the Lippert Turning Point Pin Box then you will be able to use a fixed 5th wheel hitch on your 2007 Toyota Tundra short bed truck. This is because the pivoting mechanism on the pin box will provide the necessary cab clearance during sharp turns.

For the hitch I recommend taking a look at the Reese M5 # RP30928 because of its forged single piece jaw that wraps completely around the trailer's king pin for a really secure connection and a smooth, quiet ride during travel. Its wide funnel also allows for much easier hookup. It has a 20,000 pound towing weight capacity, which is more than enough for the trailer you're considering.

If you don't already have base rails installed I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Installation Kit # RP50084-58. This kit includes the needed standard base rails to which the hitch will attach and custom brackets that use existing holes in the truck's frame rails so you don't have to drill into them during installation.
