Dimensions of Channel Tongue Trailer Couplers for 2 Inch Frame
Published 07/06/2019 >
Question:
Thanks for our quick answer, unfortunately it sees that the mounting holes are to low on the coupler to directly replace my old Fulton. Can you provide the same dimensions for your Item # F222000301?

Between the bolt holes of coupler # CT-3001-Z I measured the same 3-1/16 inch. They're also 1/2 inch holes like yours. From the top to the center of the holes I measured about 1-5/16 to maybe even 1-3/8 inches. With that being said measuring from inside the coupler's channel from the top to the center of the bolt hole makes more sense. If the metal of the new one is thicker than the old one it'll still fit exactly the same even with the outside measurement being different. So I measured on the inside and got right at 1-3/16 inches. So if you measure from the top of your trailer's tongue, not counting the bolted on coupler, the center of the bolt holes and come up with 1-3/16 inches you have a match.
