Is Mounting Hardware for Buyers Products 1/2 " Cast Aluminum Chain Loop # 337B2402AL Included

Question:

I received a reply regarding the appropriate screw or bolt that I might order but the answer suggested a nut. The application is on the side of a horse trailer. I do not want to drill through to the interior or have a nut inside the horse compartment.

Mounting hardware is not included with the Buyers Products 1/2 " Cast Aluminum Chain Loop # 337B2402AL you referenced as the application of where you plan to install this will determine what type of hardware to use. A carriage nut and bolt is what would be your best option but you'll need to first determine the proper length based on where you'll install it.

Thanks for sending the picture in! I wasn't totally sure what you had going on with your first message but now I can see what you meant to ask. So the type of hardware that's holding on the handle in the picture is a Torx bit. In order to remove the ones you have and then install the # 337B2402AL (or something similar) you'll want to track down a set of Torx bits.
