In order to setup your 2016 Ford F-150 XLT for towing the Keystone Outback Ultra-lite 260UML you will need a trailer hitch, trailer wiring harness, and brake controller. These will be all that is required but I would also recommend a weight distribution system as well to both help with vehicle sag and potential trailer sway issues.
For a trailer hitch, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C86HR which is a custom fit because it has a hidden cross tube (see photo). For a trailer wiring harness, I recommend the Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole part # 37185 which simply plugs into the 4-way with a few other wires to connect and then for a brake controller I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Trailer Brake Controller part # RED24FR with the Redarc Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness part # 331-TPH-007 because this brake controller has a hidden design and allows for both user controlled and proportional braking modes, allowing you to take full control for your trailer's brakes.
For a weight distribution system, the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control part # FA94-00-1000 with either the 2" Hitch Ball part # EQ91-00-6080 or 2-5/16" Hitch Ball part # EQ91-00-6100 would be perfect for you. I have attached install videos for you as well.
