The B&W Companion Fifth Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3500 base measures 30-1/2" Wide x 36" Long; it is designed to fit into B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck hitches, which are made to fit specific year, make and model of trucks. If you let me know what truck you have, as well as the size of your truck bed I would be happy to find the Turnoverball that will work with your truck and allow you to use the Companion.

To give you an idea of where the hitch will sit in your truck, the base will measure 14-1/2" from the center of the hitch post (where it connects to the gooseneck) to the edge of the hitch on the cab side.

This hitch has a 20,000 lb towing capacity, is made in the USA and comes with a lifetime warranty. I've added a link to a video review for you to check out as well.
