The incorporation of a weight distribution system can increase the weight capacity of a trailer hitch. In regards to the one on your 2018 Ford F-150, you would need to look for a sticker on the hitch to see if this is the case. This sticker will list a separate weight capacity for use with a weight distribution system if applicable. If there is not a separate figure, you can install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C86HR to give you the tongue weight capacity that you need.
That said, you would still want to use a weight distribution system even if upgrading to the above because you are most like going to have vehicle sag and you get added protection from trailer sway. Regardless if you upgrade the trailer hitch or not, the Husky Center Line Weight Distribution part # HT32217 is what I recommend that you use even if you don't quite hit 600 lbs of tongue weight fully loaded.
