Question:
I ordered A40RB replacements lens for my concession trailer. They are a smidge too big to fit the housing. After receiving these I then took time to look at the light housing itself. 3 of my light kits are Grote 5023 which I can not find by that number on line and one is a trucklite. Not realizing I had mismatched light housings I measure the lens on the trucklite which is 4 1/4. I had to replace the bulbs on that side of my trailer and in trying to get the other lens off I broke it. Do you have a lens what would fit this smaller opening?

Expert Reply:
I do have an option for you but as we do not carry the trailer tail lights that you have, we would not have the correct replacement lens for you. That said, I can only imagine you will have a hard time trying to find an exact replacement as replacement lenses for old trailer lights are pretty hard to come by. Therefore, I recommend you replace the entire light as this is really your best option, the Optronics Trailer Tail Light part # ST40RB is very cost effective and is easy to install because it uses a two wire design. The part # DW05744-5 can then be used to join the new lights.
