Question:

Have a 2inch receiver welded onto the back of my Aliner trailer as the bumper is not strong or big enough for a rack and Ebike. Need a rack that can handle a 55 lb. Step Through Ebike. The weight capacity of the S64663 is 80 lbs. Only need to carry the one bike, but it is 10 lbs. over the limit for one of the two parts of the rack. Will this rack work or is there a better rack to carry a 55 lb. Step Through Ebike?

The Swagman Platform-Style 2 Bike Rack # S64663 referenced in your question does have a total weight capacity of 70 pounds but each individual bike cannot weigh more than 35 pounds. This is due to the capacity of each of the wheel hoops so unfortunately you wouldn't be able to load your 55 pound e-bike onto this rack.

To transport your bike using the receiver on your Aliner I recommend the Lets Go Aero V-Lectric FAT PRO Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount # LGA77FR instead. This platform style rack can handle 2 bikes that weigh up to 75 pounds each and is rated for use at the back of a trailer. It is wheel mounted design that will work great with any type of bike frame and will even work with bikes with fenders, unlike other wheel-mounted bike racks.
