The best fifth wheel hitch option we have for a truck like your 2017 Ram 2500 that has the Draw Tite Fold Down Gooseneck hitch # 8839 installed is the Demco Recon hitch part # DM8550045 which secures to the truck bed by grabbing onto the gooseneck hitch ball and due to it's jaw design provided a tight and quiet connection to the fifth wheel trailer.
