Dimensions of Tracks and Feet Height of Rhino Rack Roof Rack System part # Y02-500B

Question:

What are the dimensions of the tracks specifically?Width, height and length? How much clearance is there below the crossbars? Can the base mounts slide left or right in the track to accommodate narrow and wider mounting?

The tracks of the Rhino Rack Roof Rack System part # Y02-500B are 1-1/2 inches wide by 1/2 inches tall. The length of the tracks is 63 inches. The feet height for this is 3 inches which is the distance from the top of the tracks to the bottom of the crossbars.

The feet of the rack can slide in and out a bit to allow for narrower track mounting if needed.

what is the total height from the roof to the top of cross bar? So If I put a surfboard on this rack...how much space is between the surf board and the roof? I ask because I need 6 in order to open a rooftop fan on top of my tear trailer...

The crossbars themselves are 1-1/2" tall, so you're looking at a total distance of 5" from the roof to the top of the crossbars. Instead of laying the boards directly on top of the crossbars, what you could do is add a carrier like the Thule # TH811XT, which would elevate the boards another couple inches
