2018 EXPLORER - CAN YOU EXPLAIN TO ME HOW THIS RACK WORKS AROUND THE REAR SPOILER ? THE VIDEO ISNT CLEAR, DO THE INCHORS GO UP ON THE ROOF ? OR OVER THE GLASS. THANKS -THIS IS A LEASE SO I NEED TO BE CERTAIN ON FIT

To install the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack # Y02634 on the rear of your 2018 Ford Explorer 4-door the upper hooks you asked about will be changed to "Anchor Mode" which just means the top straps will be anchored inside the rear hatch of your leased Explorer, as opposed to using hooks to attach to the outside of the vehicle. These anchors will not cause any damage whatsoever to your car.

The only other thing to keep in mind is that when using any hanging rack like the FullBack you'll need bike frame adapter bar # Y02531 if your bike is dual-suspension, has a step-through frame or you want to carry a small children's bike. The bar will give those bikes a horizontal mounting point so they can be carried by the rack.
