I have a 2003 Dodge 2500 with a factory hitch, does this just slide into what I have?

If your 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 has a factory hitch that has an opening that measures 2-1/2 inch by 2-1/2 inches the Curt hitch extender part # C45048 will simply just slide into it. The 2-1/2 inch hitch size is pretty common on newer heavy duty trucks like yours but due to age of your truck it's probably a good idea to measure yours first to be certain. This is designed so that it can be used as a 34 inch long extension or cut down to a 24 inch extension and provides a 2 inch hitch opening.
