The Malone EcoLight Trailer # MAL53FR is perfect for a lightweight plastic bass boat like the Pelican Bass Raider and Sun Dolphins which are well below the trailer's 400-lb weight capacity. This means you'll have plenty of carrying capacity for other items like your trolling motor and other gear. The EcoLight's 38-1/2-inch bar spacing will provide stable support under the hull and since many of these boats are only about 4-feet wide the 58-inch bars will give you space for your rods, paddles or other gear. If you have space for one you could use the Rhino-Rack Rod Holder # RR572 which holds 4 rods.

I recommend a 4-piece set of cam buckle straps # E98876-4 to secure the boat and your other gear to the trailer. These will secure the boat without risk of putting too much pressure on it.

If your 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee does not already have trailer wiring you can use 4-pole kit # 118394. If it has 7-way wiring you can use 7-way to 4-pole adapter # PK12716.
