Removing Roof Sealant Tips for R-Pod Camper

I am refurbishing my r-Pod 2011 camper. The OME for the roof sealant was LaSalle Bristol Xtrm Universal self-leveling sealant. Is there anything I need to know about the removal of the existing coating of this product dos or donts or any type of preparation or undercoating for the new product? This has a fiberglass shell. Thank You!

Mineral spirits/paint thinner will take off the residue of the LaSalle Bristol Xtrm # 34427034145-1 once you remove the bulk of it with a putty knife. As far as the use of it for an install you'll want to get the area as clean as possible before application.
