Expert Reply:
The SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System part # SM99251 comes with a monitor light that will get installed in the windshield of the tow vehicle and will then illuminate when the brakes in the towed vehicle are applied. If you want something in your motorhome that lets you know when the brakes in the towed vehicle are applied you can use the Roadmaster Universal Brake Monitor part # RM-9530.
