RV Step Motor Replacement with Part Numbers 300-1406 and 1636669

Question:

I have a replacement part for a 300-1406. I bought a new one with 300-1406 stamped on it and also has LCI 1636669 on it. However, it is slightly different. The new one has a shaft that is splined and has snap ring groove at top. Old one appeared to be splineless and snap ring groove just above the gear. How do I know if I have the correct one?

Since the part numbers match the # LC301695 is the correct replacement motor you need. Is it possible the snap ring came off of your old motor and that's why it's not there? If you are still unsure you can send me a picture of the old motor and I can verify that it's correct with Lippert but since the part numbers match it would be correct.
