Troubleshooting Shaking Faucet in RV After Un-Winterizing

Question:

We bought a 2019 Coachmen Ultra Lite Freedom trailer. The dealer winterized it for us, and I unwinterized it recently. But the kitchen faucet vibrates. When I turn on the cold water faucet at the kitchen sink, the sink and faucet vibrate, and the pump is much louder. Any other cold water faucet are louder but dont vibrate. The problem doesnt occur with hot water faucet. The dealer service department isnt calling me back. Any advice would be appreciated.

Shaking faucets are caused by a common problem that is known as water hammer. It is caused by air trapped within the water pipes that compresses when running water to a particular faucet is rapidly turned off.

Typically the solution for this is to shut off the water supply and then open all faucets to release all pressure and then shut off the faucets and turn water back on. This is most likely an issue caused by the dealer you had winterize the RV so if you are still experiencing issues they should be the ones who will take care of it.

If they still won't help and the faucet trick doesn't work I'd find a plumber local to you and have them check it out.
