Question:
I have a 2019 Ford Ranger and I cannot get the Echo to pair with my phone and the power light does not come on. The truck recognizes the Echo telling me there is a trailer attached but the Echo will not power on?

If there are no lights shown on the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 once plugged in then the device is not receiving power. If the device is not receiving power the first thing you will want to do is test the 12 volt pin on the 7-way to make sure it has power. If not then you most likely need to activate the tow/haul mode with your in-dash settings. The 12 volt pin may also become active once a load is detected.
