Question:
I knew when replacing my hitch Curt 12228 purchased etrailer order 107783101 on my 2009 pontiac vibe that two of the internally welded frame nuts were broken. I had to grind off the bolts after being rear ended and needing to replace the hitch. I purchased RP50066F. The pontiac frame does not have access holes nor the correct frame holes for the large bolts and spacer blocks from the RP50066F kit. Can you assist me with the correct size bolts, spacers, washers, nuts, and wire leaders to finish the replacement? Is it possible that the RHK kit will work for my vehicle? I would rather get it correct than guess at it like previous. Thank You,

Expert Reply:
If you can access an open end of the frame where the weld nut broke off you could fishwire a new carriage bolt in place of the weldnut. Otherwise you may have to weld the hitch on or see if a local garage like you mentioned could come up with a way to re-weld in a weld nut.
For a bolt leader you could then use the # C58400.
