How Much Does the Thule EasyFold XT Platform Bike Rack Weigh When Folded for Carrying?

Question:

I'm 84 yrs old with a back problem which has kept me off my road bike for 3 months. When rack is in tilt position how far must I lift the rack to release so I can roll it away from back of car?

The Thule EasyFold XT 2 E-Bike Platform Rack # TH903202 weighs 45 pounds when folded for carrying. It also has integrated wheels on the back to assist with transporting to and from your vehicle. I've attached a video review of all the features including the wheels to assist. For comparison this is about the weight of the average loaded suitcase.

The bike rack when folded for moving will be 26-3/4 inches tall. You will need to lift it about 1 inch for the rolling function but you can lift it a few more inches if that is more comfortable and still get the rolling feature. I've attached a video that shows this at the 5 minute mark. You shouldn't really need to slouch to roll the bike rack and cause any further back issues.
