Weight Rating On Polar Folding Assist Step

Question:
How much weight can the fold up step carry? I weight 210lbs

Expert Reply:
I contacted Polar and they were reluctant to give me a weight rating for the step part # PLR900 however they were adamant about the fact that it can handle 210 lbs of weight. The step is designed to be used on industrial equipment so it is made of a heavy duty steel. The backing plate measures 2 inches thick.
