Does this hitch extender come with a bend in it 1/2 over the length Mine does

Yes, the Curt Hitch Extension and Reducer # C45048 that you referenced does have a slight upward bend in it. This was intended to compensate from the suspension sag that will likely take place due to the added leverage of the hitch extender length. Otherwise the hitch opening might end up angled more to the ground than desired.
