I took a look at the installation instructions for Curt Trailer Hitch # C13176 and according to those the spare tire will stay on when mounting the hitch in your 2019 Chevy Colorado. This hitch is a great choice for your Colorado and will not require any drilling to install. It has an 8,000 lb towing capacity, 800 lb tongue weight capacity, and comes with a lifetime warranty.
