Wiring Instructions for the Turn Signal Switch for Peterson Combination Stop and Turn Signal Lights  

Question:

I lost instructions to install the unit. Its going to be installed in a 1948 Frazer Manhattan. The colored wires on the unit are. Red.Blue.Yellow,black,gray,Green. a gray/black line. I need to know the locations of these wires connect to on the car. There is a three point flasher.

The following wires on the Turn Signal Switch # PM500 are for the following functions:

Red - Right Front
Black - Right Rear
Pilot Blue - Flasher - Fuse - 12V Power
Load Yellow - Flasher
Gray/Black - Stop Light Switch
Gray - Left Rear
Green - Left Front

If using led lights do I need to use a different relay or add diodes

@KenH Thanks for your patience while I got an answer for you. The Turn Signal Switch for Peterson Combination Stop and Turn Signal Lights # PM500 is compatible with LED lights according to the engineers at Peterson.
