Question:

i purchased the DM 6194 several months ago for my 2017 chevy 3500 well i finally installed it yesterday i was confused because there are only 2 of the feet on the bottom that sit in the pucks on the truck the other 2 are just flat do they just sit on top of the pucks? the video shows the person saying that all of the feet sit in the pucks, does the feet that sit in the pucks go to the front or do they go to the back sry but why doesnt all the feet sit in the pucks can you explain? should they all sit in the pucks, did it ship wrong? Iam really concerned about this. Thank you for any and all your suggestions.

The Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package will definitely sit in all four pucks and locks into place inside those pucks.

It is possible you may have ordered the wrong adapter, which is why it isn't fitting. The Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter # DM6194, which is what you have, only fits if your 2017 Chevy Silverado 3500 has a 6-1/2 foot bed.

If your '17 Silverado 3500 has an 8 foot bed you will instead need the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter # DM6206.

The reason for this is that the spacing is different for the puck system depending on the size of the bed you have, so if your truck has an 8 foot bed the adapter you have would not fit.
