Question:
I have a 225 SS caliper. The flexible brake line connection to the caliper will not work. The banjo bolt does not fit into the brass connector and it doesnt fit into the caliper threaded hole that the brass fitting screws into. It looks like the brass fitting is for a hard line. The threads dont match. How do I attach this flexible brake line to the caliper?

Expert Reply:
Sounds like you are trying to install the wrong brake line to the Kodiak Disc Brake Caliper # KDBC225S that you mentioned. The fitting size needs to be 3/16 inch like what comes with the # 18TA-BLKIT. Since I don't know what brake lines you have now it's hard for me to verify that you have the right thing.
