What is the Range of the Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller

Question:

What is the maximum range for bluetooth connectivity. I have a 40foot class A and would like to ensure this will work before I buy it.

Expert Reply:

We've asked Curt this before and they've told us that the range of the Curt Echo part # C51180 that you referenced is 50 feet but that can vary somewhat depending on the Bluetooth capabilities of your connected smartphone.

It should be noted that even if you somehow lose connectivity as you are driving, the Echo # C51180 will still work. As you can see by the cut out I added of the linked instruction manual, it specifies "The brake control will continue to function properly at the most recently programmed settings and braking operation will not be affected."
