When installing the Curt Front Mount Hitch, # 13138 on a 1997 Ford Ranger, you will need to enlarge some access holes but you will not be drilling any new holes. Please note that this hitch will not fit models that have a front cross-member (interferes with installation) or 2 wheel drive models built in Canada. I have included a link to the installation details for you.
We also have the Draw-Tite Front Mount Hitch, # 65017. I have included a link to the installation details for this hitch as well.
