My existing arms measure 82”. Is there a model with longer arms, or is the 69” recommended?

I spoke with my contact at Lippert regarding the Solera 12V Power RV Awning Conversion Kit with 69" Arms # LC434724. She said that when deciding if a larger kit is needed it's best to go by the actual awning/fabric extension on your system instead of the arm length. It is fine to replace longer arms with shorter ones as long as the awning extension matches.
She said as long as your awning when extended measures out less than 9 feet 8 inches from the camper then the # LC434724 is the way to go. If your fabric extends out 9 feet 8 inches (116 inches) or more please let me know and we can go from there.
This particular kit is designed to replace or upgrade existing support arms from Dometic, Carefree, or Solera. I have attached a short video demonstration that you can check out as well.
