Question:
5.30-12 class C vs class D. i have a popup camper with 5.30-12 class C tires and was told that max speed was 65mph due to the tires. Would the class D tires have a higher mph rating?

Speed ratings will depend on the specific tire itself, as opposed to the load range. For example, if you were looking for a tire that was size 5.30R12 and wanted a speed rating higher than 65 mph I recommend checking out the Taskmaster 5.30R12 Radial Trailer Tire # TT53012C which has a speed rating of 81 mph.
These are a load range C tire with a maximum capacity of 1,050 lbs at 80 psi.
I have added a link to a video review of this tire for you to take a look at.
