Question:
Hello, I have a 6foot wide 12foot long all aluminum flat bed SUV trailer. There are ties when Id like to be able to convert it to trailer a 18foot freighter canoe with outboard engine. My thoughts were to be able to add a back roller, bunks, and a front bar and boat winch. Id like to be able to use quick release system to convert to a bot trailer and then back to an SUV trailer as needed. Do you have any suggestions?

You would basically need to build a frame that you can attach to the flat bed trailer. I recommend using the following:
CE Smith Carpeted Bunk Boards for Boat Trailers - 6' Long - 1 Pair # CE27840
CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assemblies - Galvanized Steel - 9" - Qty 4 # CE10000G-4
CE Smith Winch Stand - Galvanized Steel - 30" Tall x 2" Wide # CE31013G
CE Smith Keel Roller Assembly for 2" Wide Trailer Tongues - Galvanized Steel and Black Rubber # CE32005G
Fulton Single Speed Trailer Winch - 7" Long Handle, 12' Strap - Zinc - 900 lbs # F142007
You will need to determine how many of which parts and how you want to support the Freghter, but this will give you some components to help with the process of determining your fit and frame needs.
