Question:

Just to be clear, this requires the existing rivets to be drilled through and replaced with bolts and nuts? Thanks!

Yes, if you will be replacing the entire claw on the Yakima Raptor Aero Roof Mounted Bike Carrier Y02093 which is the Replacement Jaw for Yakima Raptor Roof Mounted Bike Carrier part # 8820182 then you will need to drill out the rivet that attaches the claw to the upright and then replace it using a bolt and nut of your own. If you are just however replacing the pad then all you would need to do is unthread the knob once you remove the e-clip (see photo).

If you need any other replacement parts for the Yakima Raptor Aero Roof Mounted Bike Carrier please just let me know what they are.
