Question:
I am wondering if it is possible to carry two 2019 Outbacks on a 2011 Acura MDX, which currently has a smooth roof with no factory rails. What length crossbars would be needed? Would using two Hullavators be a possilibilty? Is a trailer the only real option.? Thank you in advance for your help. Parimal

The Hobie Outback you have weighs in at 85 lbs so it would be harder to get onto the roof of a vehicle even if you had a roof rack and roof capacity that would accommodate 170 lbs of just kayaks. We don't carry any roof racks for your vehicle that would have enough weight capacity so best option is a kayak trailer like the Malone MegaSport Trailer with MegaWing Kayak Cradles # MPG550-M.
You'll need a trailer hitch installed on your 2011 Acura MDX as well like the # 13354. For trailer wiring you'll need the # C56038.
You'll need a ball mount with a 1 inch rise like the # D-4 and a Hitch Pin and Clip, # PC3, with the hitch ball # 63845 and you'd be set.
