Can Curt Echo C51180 Fit 2006 Chevy Silverado with 7-Way

Question:

Will the unit C51180 work on a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT four door 4x4 with factory 7 pin plug. When I pulled the same brand and modelC51180 up on Amazon to do a price comparison the website says this WILL NOT work on my 2006 Chevy Silverado. If this unit does work do I have to do ANY wiring modifications to the truck in order for the unit to work correctly?

The Curt Echo Mobile brake controller part # C51180 fits any vehicle with a functional 7-way including your 2006 Chevy Silverado. As long as the 7-way is working properly this would work well for you. To activate the 12 volt circuit you will need to make one connection under the hood which I attached a help article with more info for you to check out.
