C51170 I have the factory tow option and it came with the trailer brake pigtail thats supposed to go to a trailer brake have not installed. Do I still need to buy a harness from curt to fit this trailer brake to my truck? thanks! 2015 Toyota Tacoma

To use the Curt Spectrum Trailer Brake Controller # C51170 on your 2015 Toyota Tacoma, you will want the Curt Custom Wiring Adapter # C51362. It sounds like you may have a pigtail harness with exposed wires on one end and this adapter plug for under your dash on the other. If that is the case you may use that, but you will need to then use butt connectors and cut the quick connect end of your brake controller.
