Could Curt Echo Brake Controller # C51180 Fit 7-Way that Faces Down

Thanks for the quick reply. I have the Prodigy on my list of options. However sticking with the theme (and simplicity) of the Curt system (Bluetooth), could I use this adapter (or one like it?) on my X5 to solve the 7-way pointed down issue? 30955

The Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 will fit your 7-way and function great but with it pointed down towards the ground you'd need to be aware of clearance. Would the controller be hanging down possibly low enough that debris on the road could hit it?

Yes the part # 30955 would be a great solution to allow you to face the current 7-way setup you have now a better direction!
